bioME 5, is inspired by the Earth's various natural biomes (communities of organisms adapted to a particular environment) such as: desert, grasslands, aquatics, forests, and tundra. All animals in our Alphabet Project inhabit and depend on these environments for their development and survival.

The bioME 5 Animal Alphabet Project "was created by two architectural designers who are inspired by the visual learning processes inherent in all children. This inspiration combined with a fascination and appreciation of nature's beauty and diversity has developed into products that act as both an exercise in imagination and learning tools. We hope that our products will be seen as thoughtful and inspiring not only through our creative processes but also by the enjoyment and interactions that they may encourage within the user"

THE ANIMAL ALPHABET PROJECT

Children learn about the world around them early in development through continued exposure to a diversity of images and sounds. Like sponges, they absorb these sounds, shapes, and colors in a constant process of play and discovery. bioME 5 hopes to create a sense of curiosity with their designs and furthermore to develop familiarity with the shapes of letters, animals, and words. Vibrant colors, large letters, and easily recognizable animals create intriguing graphics but also serve as recognition and learning catalysts for children. To be sure, the inverse orientation of the words on our products is not a mistake. The animal name is clearly readable from your little one’s vantage point…

bioME 5 apparel is made with 100% certified organic cotton and made in sweatshop-free facilities in the USA. They are tagless and preshrunk. All of their "Natural" colored products are undyed and unbleached organic cotton.

Everett was sent the a L for Lion T-shirt from bioME 5. Since he is in Junior Kindergarten he is really enjoying learning. He is learning to read and write so this is a great shirt for him to put on.

Locally made in Los Angeles, California, bioME 5 uses only 100% certified organic cotton in all of their cotton products. All of their dyed products use non-chlorine bleaching processes and low-impact dyes. bioME 5 uses the lowest impact fiber reactive dyes available.
