Beth Ritzman loves to create all things she is passionate about. As a happy momma of Four and wife, Beth loves to stay up late in her studio playing with fabric. Listening to that voice of inspiration and letting it guide the process Beth uses Fabric to create and design her wonderful collection at Etsy. "As a mama who has worn her babies for 10 years, and sewn my own slings for almost that long, I can’t say enough good things about the practice.

There are many good sling companies out there, and all of them are wonderful! I know that may seem like a grand statement, but its true! I have yet to encounter a bad sling company or an individual who would purposefully make a defective product for you to carry your child in. Many of the differences that do exist are in style. So I say look around, and find your style. Embrace your style!

I feel strongly that a sling should be beautiful. You won't find licensed characters or juvenile prints here. Your sling is going to cover up most of your outfit (which is good when your shirt has been used as a hanky...I know, it happens) so it should be a style that you would wear anyway.

Beth was very gracious and sent me one of her favorites, the Little Black Dress Sling {LBD} to Review and being a baby wearing mom myself was thrilled to have something so beautiful to help me tote my toddler around.  It came packaged very beautifully and the custom handmade envelope with my purchase information was a lovely addition. This is the perfect Go-To Sling – the Original LBD Sling – part of her Baby Basics line of ring slings. It's true what they say, black really does go with everything! The LBD sling will complement any outfit. It is also a good style for guys to use. My husband was quite thrilled when we received our LBD. He sported it on Halloween and other than looking super carrying Emma he found it to be comfortable as we walked for more than an hour.    His first Impression was the not only was it well made, the pleated  shoulder was exceptionally easy for him to navigate on and the color was perfect for Baby wearing Daddy's.

Black is a super color , it goes with anything you are wearing , weather it be a black dress or jeans. Play it up for formal wear or down to grab the mail. There is a lot to love about Baby Ette Boutique's LBD. I particularly  like the lightweight fabric. This is a super sling as it is not bulky.It has just the right amount of material to make it very strong but not so much to make it a very bulky, hot carrier either. The workmanship and detailing is super and this is a piece that you know was not made in a factory.
