My Little Green Shop- Green Toys Giveaway Ends Aug 26, 2010

My Little Green Shop is an online organic boutique for families that is based in Vancouver, BC. My Little Green Shop is also a wonderful sponsor here at Organic Girl.  This Canadian Shop is owned and operated by a mom who like all of us was concerned about her baby's well -being and the condition of the planet in which we live. Mindful of the unfortunate fact that such items tend to come with hefty price tags, at My Little Green Shop they do their best to find items that are as affordable as possible.  Their mission is to provide a wide range of products that are safe and non-toxic and have as little impact on the environment as possible in their production cycles.   Their bath and body products are made with natural organic ingredients and their bags  made from recycled material. My Little Green Shop carries Organic Girl favorites like Piggy Paint, Dimpleskins and Little Twig Bath products for baby.
All of My Little Green Shop mealtime and eating utensils are either made with plastic that doesn't contain BPA or other harmful chemicals, stainless steel or from bamboo.

Crisscrosses and double-unders are all good for the planet when they are done with the Green Toys™ Jump Rope. This eco-jumper is made with US-made 100% cotton rope (7 feet long and adjustable) and 100% recycled plastic handles. Little jumpers can burn energy and save energy at the same time!!
The handles on these ropes are made from recycled plastic. Here's how Green Toys uses recyled plastic: milk containers are collected at curbs by recycling companies, who then sort them from all the other types of plastic. Next, the milk containers are reprocessed into super clean fresh plastic. The plastic material used is called high-density polyethylene (or HDPE). This material is considered one of the safest, cleanest plastics around.
All Green Toys products are 100% made in California, a state known for strict toy safety and environmental laws. Have you ever ever thought about how many miles a toy logs before it ends up in your local store?  Every step in the process, from milk container recycling to toy production to final assembly, occurs in California.
