What BECKONS you? Each of us is beckoned by something, be it adventure, nature, the earth, the journey, passion, love, beauty. What beckons you? How does this manifest in your life? I love Organic Clothing and Beckons Organics has definately become a favorite of both mine and my Hubby's.

At Beckons®, it’s their passion to create dynamic yoga and lifestyle clothing for every body type, from the novice yogi to the serious practitioner. Their clothes are an expression of their beliefs and an extension of their practice into their everyday lives. They maintain a strong commitment to the triple bottom line, where profit is equally as important as our impact on the planet and it's people. The company’s founders, Ann Sather and Becky Prater  began practicing yoga to bring balance to their otherwise hectic lives. They quickly realized the need for colorful, comfortable, flattering, eco-conscious clothing that could transition directly from the yoga studio into people’s daily routine. Thus, Beckons was born. As clothing designers and students of yoga, they tenaciously evaluate every Beckons garment for fit, style and performance, and refine them until each is absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, Beckons has embraced the yogic philosophy of kindness to the planet. They use only organic cotton and sustainable fibers in our clothing. The organic cotton is sourced from Texas (US), India, Turkey and China. The growing fields and processing are certified by Control Union Certifications (formerly SKAL International). The processing is further certified by Control IMO, the Institute for Marketecologie. It is through these verification companies that we ensure our fabrics meet USDA and Organic Trade Association guidelines.  Color is all around us and we wear color everyday. People respond to different colors in different ways, and these responses occur on a subconscious, emotional level. At BECKONS ®, they believe the colors we wear, and surround ourselves with, can make a difference in how we feel and how people feel about us. Their goal is to empower people with the knowledge of how to use color to affect change in their lives and then, provide colorful organic and sustainable fiber clothing to help you make that change. They have created a color chart that presents the most common effects each color has according to our western culture.  Beckons is equally proud to partner with a domestic manufacturer in San Diego to create its clothing. With jobs being scarce in the US and constant pressure to move manufacturing overseas, they are happy to have held tough on our domestic production philosophy. Their facility is owned and run by two long-time friends. Many of the workers are family members.  They believe the little things we do, to ensure that women feel special while wearing our clothing, differentiate their brand. For example, sewn into each Beckons garment is an intention tag embracing a single characteristic of the yogic lifestyle: strength, wisdom, grace, love, courage, peace and integrity. They added these as a quiet reminder of how simple it is for us to be powerful conduits for positive change.

You may not be comfortable doing yoga. But you will definitely be comfortable in  BECKONS® yoga clothing.  Beckons is very comfortable, bright and hubby and I were thrilled to be sent a few wonderful pieces for Review.

 This is my absolute Favorite outfit to wear either doing Yoga or playing with the kids. Its soft, comfortable and all pieces looked great in and out of the wash. I did however air dry all my pieces as I love them and I want them to look their best. I really like the little intentions sewn onto my outfit as well as their trade mark Flower. {I love flowers}

 

The Vivid colors are fun and bright. Organic Cotton is wonderful to wear since it has not been  tainted by chemicals, the fibers of organic cotton are longer, softer and less brittle, making them more comfortable to wear.

Mens Strength Yoga Pant

I know My DH Loves wearing his Chocolate Yoga Pants around the house, driving the kids to school and pretty much anytime he need something comfy to put on.  They are well made and the quality of the cotton is wonderful.
