My Little Roo Review and Giveaway - Ends January 25, 2010

My Little Roo started as an idea back in 2001, when founder Kelsey Clark became a mother to her oldest son, Aidan. Kelsey soon recognized that the ubiquitous Baby Bjorn-type front carrier, while brilliant in its basic design, lacked style and function. With this in mind, she set out to create a fashionable line of designer slipcovers that would add style and function to the front baby carrier while also prolonging the usable life of the carrier by reducing the need for washing. She added function by incorporating a front pocket that can easily stow your blackberry, cell phone, cash, credit card, or that pacifier that's always getting lost. Embracing her design philosophy and a company that would accomadate her commitment to family, her creation was finally born in 2008. I was sent the Pink Paper Dolls for Review. And With my current carrier being totally white I thought this was a great inexpensive way to protect the carrier underneath but add some color to it and make it super girly:) And after two boys we like Girly here !!

I really think this idea is brillant. I used the same carrier for at least 3 of my children and that if I had had this option back then it would have been a great cost saving fashion upgrade. My sons had their first few months in a lovely pinkish/purple carrier passed down from their sister at the time. To be able to purchase a cover to cover the old and in the with new is a great idea.

How does My Little Roo work?
My Little Roo slips on and off easily to your existing front baby carrier.
The slipcover is designed to slip on the front portion of the front baby carrier.
Simply detach all the straps so you have only the front of the carrier in hand.
Slip the front of the carrier into the slipcover through the overlay opening on the back
chenille side. Pull it through so the carrier is laying flat in the slipcover.
Designed like a pillow sham. Re-attach the straps and you're ready to go.
My Little Roo slipcovers are made in the USA with 100% cotton and vintage/recycled
chenille. Our slipcovers are machine washable and can be machine dried.  A light
iron may be used, if desired. Slipcovers are not reversible!
The Front Pocket!
Their 6x6 front pocket design
is large enough to stow your blackberry, cell phone,
ATM card and your car keys for that quick run into the store. This has added so much use to my carrier as its one thing to have a kid attached but having a spot for money and a wallet is a bonus as who wants to carry all the bulk right?
Remember My Little Roo and  just recycle your old carrier and make it fresh and new with My Little Roo slipcovers. My Little Roo baby carrier slipcovers are a breeze to put on and take off, are made in the USA, and are packaged by hand with recycled gift boxes. Your cover will arrive ready to give at a gift at your next baby shower!

My Little Roo slipcovers fit  all the Baby Bjorn® carriers  including synergy, active, air, original star and original,  Lascal ® M1 Carrier, Snugli® soft comfort vent, Infantino® euro rider,
and Jeep® 2 in 1 front pack carrier.
