The concept of organic refers to the creation of something that originates in nature, a pure product from the environment. We all want the best for our children. As parents, it is important to us that we only use products that are made in fair-trade, not tested on animals and use eco-friendly methods of production. At the Green Collection they believe that by instilling these values in our children, we can teach them to make choices which help protect the environment and reduce their carbon footprint. The Green Collection philosophy is based on:
Simple. The Green Collection’s workspace is modestly sized and multi-purpose, using as little electricity and water as possible. They offer minimal product packaging. Where possible, they use 100% post-consumer recycled paper for print materials, and they also recycle all of their shipping materials (boxes, wrap, fillers etc.). As a family-friendly company, they are committed to reducing our environmental impact by encouraging people to cut back on waste, choose toys that can be passed along or shared and select products that are built to last and take care of them.
Natural. The Green Collection customers are supporters of environmental and health issues as reflected in their choice of products to purchase for their families. They believe that what children are exposed to should be pure and natural and they offer complete ingredient lists as well as resources to make educated decisions.
